(a growth hormone releasing hormone analog)
Sermorelin is a short peptide modeled on the first 29 amino acids of GHRH, the signal your hypothalamus sends to the pituitary gland to release growth hormone. Growth hormone supports sleep, recovery, and body composition. Research shows its natural release declines steadily from early adulthood, and lower levels have been linked to slower recovery, reduced lean muscle, and poorer sleep.
Growth hormone is released by the pituitary gland in pulses, the largest of which happens during deep sleep. Sermorelin binds to the same receptor as the body's own GHRH and prompts the pituitary to release growth hormone in that same pulsed pattern.
