The Science of Epithalon

Epithalon is a four-amino-acid peptide modeled on epithalamin, a compound produced by the pineal gland. The pineal gland regulates melatonin and the body's sleep-wake rhythm, and its output declines with age.

In research, epithalon has been studied for two effects. The first is on telomerase, the enzyme that maintains telomeres, the protective caps on the ends of chromosomes that shorten each time a cell divides. The second is on melatonin rhythm, which supports sleep and circadian regulation.

Cellular Aging

Studied for its effect on telomere length and maintenance.

Sleep Rhythm

May support healthy melatonin production and circadian rhythm.

Cycle-Based

Periodic dosing that fits alongside other protocols.

Longevity Protocols

Commonly paired with NAD+ and GHK-Cu.

Individual results vary and are not guaranteed.

How Epithalon Works

What epithalon does in the body over a cycle.

Day 1

Epithalon begins acting on the pineal gland, which regulates melatonin and your sleep-wake rhythm.

Day 10

Some people notice deeper, more regular sleep as melatonin rhythm is supported.

End of Cycle

The short cycle completes. Epithalon is studied for its effect on telomerase, the enzyme that maintains telomeres.

6 Months

A second cycle is typically considered, as cycles are often repeated once or twice a year.

1 Year and Beyond

Periodic cycles become part of a long-term longevity protocol.

Timeline reflects the general mechanism and published research. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed.
